Find your H-index: Web of Sience h-index step by step

This guide will explain what is H-index and how to find your H-index in web of science, scopus and google scholar.

Step by step

Log in to Web of Science database on campus click here

off campus click here 

Enter the authors name (last name then space then the first letter of the first name and add an asterisk), and make sure to do the search in the authors field 

You can also search by an organization to find all authors under this organization or Institute and find all articles and research published for that Institution or organization.

First choose organization - enhanced then type the name of the organization in the search bar.

You can limit the time span of your search by choosing from ex. 2015 to 2016, or you can search all years.

Click on one of the required search results, then click on create citation report the h-index appears on the right side of this page. If you need more information on the h-index click og the (?) sign.
