Citation Manager - RefWorks

Khalifa University of Science & Technology Libraries cordially invite you to attend RefWorks workshop.

RefWorks is a reference management service that supports the needs of students, faculty and librarians. With an improved user experience, full-text management and collaboration features, RefWorks gives students and faculty a tool that enables a more efficient and reliable process for producing research papers.

Libraries that offer this powerful service have access to administrative controls that help institutions honor intellectual property rights, and analytics that provide a consistent source of information on patron and content usage.

The RefWorks workshop will cover the following topics:

• Creating new RefWorks account.
• Improving references from online databases and add references manually into your account.
• Creating folders and adding references to them.
• Creating bibliographies.
• Sharing and collaborating.
• Generate bibliographies and citations for any authoring tool.

The 12:00pm session will also be live streamed on the internet and can be viewed from anywhere via this link: https://connect.pi.ac.ae/refworks/

Quiz Night

Habshan Library recently hosted a Quiz Night for students to relax and have fun. Around 20 students shared snacks, laughs and knowledge in subjects ranging from World Football, History, to DC Superheroes. Another event will be held in the Spring to follow up.
