Library patrons assume responsibility for all items checked out in their name, and must guarantee the safe return of all library materials.  If an item is lost, stolen or damaged, the patron is responsible for all replacement related costs, including the cost of the replacement item and processing fees.

Library users are allowed to renew items three times, unless the items are recalled or reserved by another patron. The renewal of materials can be completed online via the library catalog (https://khalifa.primo.exlibrisgroup.com/).

Items can be reserved by placing a hold on them. Holds may be requested at any of the library service desks or online via the library catalog (https://khalifa.primo.exlibrisgroup.com/).

All library materials must be returned by the due date. Patrons are responsible for returning or renewing items by the due date. Failure to return items by the due date will result in overdue fines. For more information, please refer to the Overdue Fines policy (link TBD).

Patrons will receive an email notifications for overdue items.

Faculty members wishing to place course materials on reserve should bring them to a circulation desk at any library branch. Faculty may place privately owned items on reserve or items that are in the library’s collection.
